I’m a freelance photographer living in London. I specialise in portraiture and event photography.
I have been working as a freelance photographer since 2009, the majority of my work is portraiture and event photography, in particular weddings (click here to see my wedding portfolio.)
I grew up on the beautiful Isle of Wight, an Island just off the south coast of England. My family is a creative one, and I was always encouraged to develop my own ways of expressing myself through the arts. I was interested in photography from an early age, but only began seeing it as my medium for art at 17. I studied A Level photography, from there I took the next step to University College of the Creative Arts in Farnham, where I completed Foundation Art Diploma. Finally, I attended London College of Fashion, where I studied BA (Hons) Fashion Photography.
My interest in portraiture began when I was learning the basics of photography. At the very beginning I found photographing people the hardest area of photography, I found that there is no one method that will work for every person, so every time I work with someone it is a fresh challenge for me - this is also why I became addicted to it, I am fascinated by it, when you capture someone's personality in a photograph that others can also see and recognise the person and their personality it is such a great feeling.
I enjoy meeting so many interesting and talented people through my job... If you are interested in having your portrait taken by me please do get in touch, you can find my contact details and an enquiry form here.
