Camilo Live at O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire | Live Music Photography London

In June 2026 I was in the press pit at O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire to photograph Camilo, the Colombian singer, on the London date of his Nuestro Lugar Feliz Tour. It was a great atmosphere for the show, beautiful venue, friendly crowd and charismatic performer!

The energy was tangible... Camilo had the room with him from the first song, and the atmosphere stayed warm and open from the moment I got into the pit before he came on stage, from the front rows right to the back, where couples were dancing to almost every track.

Live and tour photography is a direction I'm actively building, alongside my portrait and press work for musicians and actors. I used to shoot a lot of live music earlier in my career and I didn’t realise how much I’d missed it, I will do a retrospective post of some of my favourite shots from my live music work soon! There's a real buzz you get working at concerts, they are fast moving, the light can be difficult (dark and changes fast) but still coming away with images that feel cinematic and considered rather than rushed snaps feels very satisfying!
